Whop Ads: what changes for members and sellers
By Wes Calder · Published 2026-10-06
Whop Ads lets sellers run Facebook and Instagram ads from the Whop dashboard, through Whop's own Meta agency accounts. Whop charges no platform fee; sellers pay the ad spend and can fund it from their Whop balance. Only Meta is live; other platforms are listed as coming soon. Members only see the ads.
What changes for members
- Whop says it checks every ad before launch, and its rules bar fake income claims, fake testimonials and scam-style offers.
- Nothing changes in your membership, checkout or app. You may see more Facebook and Instagram ads for Whop products.
- Those checks are Whop's own. An ad that passes them says nothing about whether the product is worth the money.
What changes for sellers
- Run Meta ads from the Ads tab in your Whop dashboard, through Whop's agency ad accounts. Whop lists no setup fee, no monthly fee and no minimum spend; you pay only the ad spend.
- Fund ads with a credit card, a Whop Card or your pending Whop balance, so new revenue can go to ads the same day instead of after the usual 4–5 days.
- The Whop Pixel tracks sales from Whop's own payment data. An Advertiser role gives a media buyer the Ads dashboard only, not your payouts or settings.
- On our new test store, with no sales, the Ads tab opened straight to a Launch my first ad button. Whop says setup takes under 5 minutes.
- Only Meta is live. The Ads tab names Meta, TikTok and Google, but Whop's docs list TikTok, Google, Snapchat, X and Reddit as coming soon. One ad account per business, no credit lines, and you still make the ads yourself.
What we found
