Is Whop itself legit?

Whop is a real company. It runs the checkout, the payments and the payouts for thousands of digital products: trading and betting Discords, reselling cook groups, courses and software. Your card is charged through Whop, and Whop runs a Resolution Center for disputes.

The risk is the seller. Each store writes its own sales page, sets its own refund terms and picks its own prices and trials. We have reviewed 107 Whop communities and keep seeing the same traps: a “free trial” that charges you today, a refund promise with conditions buried in it, and income screenshots with no losses shown.

So the honest answer to “is Whop legit?” is this: the platform is, and each store has to earn it. Check the store, not the logo.

What the checker looks at

• Refund terms. We read the refund FAQ and flag “no refunds”, “all sales final”, or refunds that only come with conditions.
• Trial to paid. We show what a “free trial” charges today, and what it renews at when it ends.
• Intro vs renewal price. We separate a one-time joining fee, or a cheap first payment, from the price that repeats.
• Income and guarantee claims. Guaranteed profit, “risk free” and win-rate claims get their exact words quoted.
• Pressure tactics. Countdowns, “last chance” and limited-spot lines get quoted.
• Plan count and top price. More than four paid plans means upsells. A top plan over $300 a month gets named.
• Reviews. We show the rating, the review count, and how thin the review history is.
• Store age. When the store was created (store age, not product age).
• Seller identity. Who runs it, when Whop shows it.
