Are paid sports betting Discords worth it?
We checked 15 of the biggest picks groups on Whop. Most are entertainment with a subscription attached. A few are worth a small, disciplined test.

The short answer
For most people, no. A picks group has to beat the sportsbook's margin and then its own subscription fee. At $30-50 a week, that's a high bar. Of 15 groups, we rated none 'Worth it', 9 'It depends' and 6 'Skip it'.
What the numbers look like
A $39.99-a-week plan costs about $173 a month. Betting $20 units at standard -110 odds, you'd need to win about 57% of 100 bets a month just to cover that fee. Break-even before any fee is already 52.4%. Very few bettors sustain 57%.
Patterns we saw
- Social feeds post only cashed longshots (GoldBoys, Beat the Books).
- A reviewer says losing picks get deleted (Official Picks).
- Short, expensive passes like $89.99 for 2 days (Sharpr Picks).
